Example only: for answer 123, guess 142 gives 1 exact and 1 elsewhere. The 1 is in place; the 2 belongs elsewhere; the 4 is absent.

How the clues narrowed it down
Optional, after finishing: start with all 60 possible codes, then keep only those matching each clue in order. A clue may leave several codes, or rule out none.
